Meet the Minds Behind the Mayhem
AMFC Inc. — short for Americans Moving Forward Campaigns — is a veteran-owned organization founded by Russell D. Ward of Tonawanda, NY.
A combat-wounded survivor of the Vietnam era, Russell made a promise years ago to never give up — and to always find ways to help others live better lives. His mission began with humor. Through books like Slimmer’s, Dealcoholization, and Degambilization, he used wit and tongue-in-cheek ideas to encourage people to stay healthy, avoid bad habits, and take life a little less seriously.
Now, with the Procrastinator Calendar, Russell continues that legacy in a new way — turning life’s everyday delays into laughter. Created with the help of his daughter, Joanna Miller, this project brings together their shared love of humor, creativity, and helping others. Joanna manages the behind-the-scenes technical details (and keeps her dad on schedule, ironically enough), while Russell focuses on the fun, clever ideas that make the calendar one of a kind.

As a proud advocate for the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Russell donates a portion of every sale to benefit the Western New York Purple Heart Veterans Organization. Supporting local veterans isn’t just part of the mission — it’s the heart of it.
